windlamp commented 12min ago"I think it's not a real string section - it's some kind of synth sound to my ears. You can hear it's kind of bell-like. If I had to guess I would put an earliest date at 1980 (release of the first FM synth, the GS1). Someone more knowledgeable might be able to recognize the synth sound"
