I guess the main thing that I wonder with that is there isn’t a female in that band and it sounds as though the main singer for at least the first line (probably lines) of the verse is female.

I don’t have the entire audio, this file is all I have, there is a likelihood it could be from the UK as opposed to America as that’s where I am from but honestly it could be from either I am not too sure.

also are you okay with me putting this on youtube to spread awareness?

My advice would be that you don’t want to know, a chord progression is very unlikely to be able to be grounds for a copyright claim so I’d say not having the other songs in your head is probably a better move.
