  • "It's live drums rather than a drum machine. I dragged it into a DAW and the beat drifts off grid.

    I have a few suggestions:

    1. Try to figure out what drum machine they used.

This can help us to pinpoint what year this song was made.

    2. Identify the singer(s).

Identifying the singer(s) is a crucial piece of evidence to help aid our search.

    3. Ask more questions. WindLamp, you say "I didn't record it myself", yet you found it in Northern California. Did someone else record the song and show you it? You also say "I got it at a Goodwill in Northern California", but again claim you didn't record it yourself.

    4. Other possibilities. We've seen with other lost songs that most of the songs we lose happen to be from an obscure porno. We've recently seen "Ulterior Motives" in Angels of Passion. The chances of this being from a porno as well are quite low in my opinion, but never zero.
