"Update: Based on the interview it's about song writer Koga Masao. Who they said wrote over 4000 songs and the full version, is just a compilation of songs that he wrotes with it being lots of covers. Based on quality and some of the songs its anywhere from 50s-70s songs. Here is just one of the songs in the list I can recognize. Not so sure if the interview time matches up with it being 85-95 since he died in 78. First song I can recognize: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz1kjkgdZR8

freeman401 commented 1min ago"Thanks! As for the dates... the program was recorded on a cassette tape - Maxell UDII 60, which was introduced to market in 1985. So the recording could not have been made earlier. Perhaps it was not a live broadcast, but rather a rerun of some old show.

"Hey there. There's some news. The song is called Amanu and it was written by Maurice Tauru. I found three different recordings on the internet, but none of them is the version from your sample.
