  although i did only search through indie and alternative rock and a bit of shoegaze, this song can probably easily be mistagged as punk

  i found this on discogs, i cant find any audio though and the lead singers instagram (i havent checked their tiktok yet) is private. i doubt its it though because it was the first result when searching alt rock and indie rock, 1990s, and "sunshine" https://www.discogs.com/release/6159774-Willard-Sunshine-Wire
