  Solved! I was actually right. The song is Love's Theme by The Love Unlimited Orchestra. Probably because I heard it so long ago I was not sure.

  So I was wrong, the song doesn't sound like it's from the 70s, it's closer to 50s and 60s easy listening music and it sounds nothing like what has been proposed. Sorry for not explaining correctly.

  It's difficult for me to describe but it sounds like a kitschy, lighthearted orchestral instrumental with elements similar to easy listening and pop ballads, I think. It seems very familiar for some reason. I remember a guitar and some percussion like bongos. I think it would be from the 1970's or 1980's fom the style. Also, I made a mistake with what I said about the repetition. I meant to say something like a technique on the violin.  Like they play trills but go higher and higher quickly. I don't know if this makes sense.

  Also, this song reminds me of Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Overture which is used in a lot of TV shows. This song is more pop-like.

  I forgot to say. It's instrumental, it's played with strings and at the beginning plays what I think is a very common motif quickly repeating the same notes but increasing the pitches. It sounds a bit like some production music used in some cartoons such as SpongeBob SquarePants or Ren and Stimpy.
