  Correct it was a year later, but I still think Desperado sampled an earlier release of the original track.

  Hey zozinhoe & PedroG3!
  Thank-you both so much for the suggestions. Both definitely sample the original vocals. I believe the original came out in the earlier 2000's.. Sergio Sergi's version came out in 2009.
  All of these tracks, mine included, tend to chop out much of the original vocal mix..
  These here are a huge step forward to finding it though!
